ST ANN’S HOSPICE NAMED AS CHARITY PARTNER FOR THE 2025 ASO MANCHESTER HALF MARATHON

St Ann’s Hospice is delighted to be named as a charity partner for the 2025 ASO Manchester Half Marathon.

The ASO Manchester Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 12, starting and finishing by Old Trafford. Approximately 24,000 people took place in the run in 2024.

St Ann’s is encouraging experienced or first-time half-marathon runners to consider running for the hospice while raising vital funds for ongoing care.

Imagine the thrill of running through the streets of Manchester, cheered on by thousands, while wearing your #TeamStAnns vest with pride. Known for its famous flat route and incredible atmosphere, this half marathon is perfect for achieving personal bests and enjoying a memorable race day experience.

Run in memory of a loved one, for a personal challenge, or simply to support the compassionate care we provide at St Ann’s Hospice. Every mile you conquer helps us continue to offer essential support to our patients and their families.

Events Co-Ordinator at St Ann’s Hospice, Laura Hindley said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named as a charity partner for this year’s ASO Manchester Half Marathon. We look forward to cheering on all our #TeamStAnns runners on the day. The ASO Manchester Half Marathon is one of the truly great running events of the year and it is an honour to be listed as a charity partner.”

For 2025, we have a number of discounted charity places costing £15 available for half marathon runners to claim.  We ask that you aim to raise a minimum of £300 to help us to continue to provide vital care.

St Ann’s will have a designated cheer point along the route, the exact location is yet to be confirmed. St Ann’s will also have a post event spot in the charity village.
