Smart Works Greater Manchester supports unemployed women throughout their employment journey, through Pre-Employment Coaching and Job Interview Styling and Coaching services.
Amazingly, we have recently delivered our 3,000th appointment – it’s a privilege to be part of so many women’s employment journeys, enabling them to feel confident and positive, helping them to transform their lives. Proudly, 70% of the women supported have been successful at securing employment.
Smart Works Greater Manchester Services:
- Our personalised tailored services are for unemployed women, 16yrs+ and are completely free
- Our services can be in-person, or remote (telephone or online video)with a clothing parcel posted out

| Job-Help Career Coaching Service | |
| Who is it for? | For unemployed women at the beginning of their job search |
| What does it include? | Women receive advice and guidance/Help translate lived experience into core competencies. Support with CV, cover letter, applications. Enabling women to feel positive about their next steps (1 hour session) This can complement other employment support they may be receiving |
| Interview Styling and Preparation Service | |
| Who is it for? | For unemployed women with a job interview for any paid employment (i.e; full time, part time, kickstart, apprenticeship) |
| What does it include? | Women receive a high-quality interview outfit, including accessories, all to keep, and have a 1:2:1 personalised interview coaching session On the news that she has been successful at interview, she will receive up to 7 additional items of clothing, all free and to keep, to build up a capsule wardrobe seeing her through to payday |
