New opportunity at North West Ambulance Service – Positive Action Engagement Officers (two roles)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Positive Action Engagement Officers (Band 4) to join the Inclusion and Engagement Team at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust to support our positive action recruitment work and support initiatives to improve diversity within our workforce.

This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference to local communities, is innovative and creative in engaging with diverse communities, and is passionate about inspiring people to fulfil their potential.

Key elements of the role will be to engage and build relationships with the voluntary, community and faith sector, attend careers and community events, deliver workshops and careers-focused sessions; explore innovative ways to engage local communities; and offer information, advice, and guidance and signposting to individuals and groups to improve their chances of obtaining employment within the trust.

We are recruiting to two posts covering the areas of (1) Lancashire and Greater Manchester North (including Bolton, North Manchester, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham areas) and (2) Merseyside and Greater Manchester South (including Central, South Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport areas).
