Hollie Guard is just one of the apps available, but it has a free basic version which tracks your movement, alerts your nominated contact if you activate the app and generates a high-pitched alarm and flashing light.
The app that can be downloaded onto any iOS or Android mobile phone, and if you feel threatened, you send out an alert either by shaking your phone, or by pressing the tile icon button. Once you activate an alert, your location, along with video and audio evidence is automatically sent to your nominated emergency contacts.
