Scale new heights to support local patients

Will you go over the edge for St Ann’s?

The hospice is appealing for local people to scale new heights in aid of their patients, and take on a daring abseil challenge this month.

If you’re searching for your next exhilarating fundraising challenge, join Team St Ann’s by taking on the Trafford Centre abseil, one of the largest abseil events in the North West.

On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th September, participants will abseil 170 feet down the Barton Square Tower at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.

Rachel McMillan, Chief Executive, said: “Whether you’re planning your next corporate team-building day or just looking for an adrenaline rush, the Trafford Centre abseil is a great way to raise vital funds and have fun whilst doing so.

“This year is our 50th birthday, and we would love local people to help us celebrate by taking part in events like this abseil, to help raise money for local patient care.”

Training will be provided on the day, and all safety equipment and guidance is included in the discounted ticket price of £25. Supporters are asked to aim for raising a minimum of £125 sponsorship to help to support the hospice’s patients.

St Ann’s Hospice is one of three charities that benefits from the Trafford Centre’s Fountain Fund charity partnerships until December 2022.
