Local leisure centre offers free activities for local community

Forum Leisure in Wythenshawe is hosting an open day on Sunday 7 August, offering the local community a day of action packed and fun filled activity, all for free.

It supports a summer of exciting sports events in the area, with Wythenshawe Games running on the same weekend.

Managed by award-winning operator Everyone Active in partnership with Wythenshawe Forum Trust and MCR Active, the centre will be offering a wide range of activities from 9am to 4pm. 

These include swimming, table tennis, badminton and junior gym inductions. The gym will be open to everyone from 10am to 4pm.

For anyone keen to experience fitness classes, a 30-minute circuits taster session and a 30-minute group cycling taster session will also be available..

Activities can be booked on the Everyone Active App.
