Youth Worker – Wythenshawe, LGBT+ Youth Group
Part-time, 3 hours a week Salary: £8.84 /hour
We are looking for a youth worker to be responsible for supporting youth work sessions, primarily for LGBT+ young people aged 12-25.
The Proud Trust is a dynamic, caring, and values-based organisation which exists to help lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people, (and people with related identities such as asexual, pansexual, non-binary and intersex young people). We are looking for a caring, diligent, hard-working person who has a good energy and is dedicated to helping improve the lives of young LGBT+ people.
There will be a guaranteed 1 session per week, of 3 hours at 8.84 per hour; any additional hours will be negotiated and agreed, and are likely to be at the rate of 8.84. This post is for 12 months initially, with a six-month probationary period. Further extension may be possible, dependent on grant funding.
