SEASHELL TRUST – Occupational Therapist (Part Time) Practising Level

Seashell Trust runs an Outstanding (Ofsted) special School, a specialist College and an Outreach Service, together with 17 on-site residential homes for children and young people with complex learning disabilities, physical disabilities and multisensory impairments.

We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary therapy team in a permanent role for 28 hours per week.  The role will be to provide in depth assessment and intervention plans for young people with a variety of complex needs, including physical and learning difficulties, multi-sensory impairment, communication difficulties, autism and challenging behaviour.  This positon will be based in our College supporting young adults aged between 19-25 years old. 

We can be flexible on the combination of days, and can also consider this post as a term time only position (salary to be pro-rated).

42nd STREET RECRUITMENT –  Integrated Community Response (ICR) Project – Manchester and Salford  /  Post: Mental Health Practitioner ICR – Full-Time

An innovative, exciting project providing emotional health and wellbeing support to young people 11-18y who present with crisis and risk. You will be delivering solution focussed, brief interventions; supporting young people to build resilience and develop positive relationships. This project includes working with partners and liaising with statutory services to co-deliver the best service. This ICR project has practitioners based in various settings across Manchester and Salford including Early Help Hubs and Pupil Referral Units.

  • Pay scale NJC Pts. 26-31: (£24,799 – £28,785) p.a.
    37.5 hrs per week (full time)
    Fixed term for one year, subject to funding
    Annual Leave 27 days per annum (pro rata)
    Contributory pension scheme available.
    There is potential for contracts to be extended beyond the initial fixed term, subject to funding and service needs.
